RAY GOLDENCHILD
Principal/Founder
Ray is the Principal and Founder of Orix Sports Agency, is responsible for all aspects of the day to day management and operations.
A former NCAA Division 1 collegiate and semi-professional soccer player in the United States, he has built an extensive network of contacts globally. He brings more than 20 years of experience ranging from playing professionally, coaching, player representation, player development and club management.
Launching Orix Sports Agency in 2015 was a unique way to utilize all of his expertise into a comprehensive service to assist aspiring athletes and organizations.
Ray studied Mass Communications at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York and has also represented professional basketball players as a former FIBA accredited professional basketball agent.
Thanu Kumar
Agent Advisor/ Scout
Thanu is our Agent Advisor and Lead Scout at Orix Sports Agency, is responsible for player recruitment.
A former youth player standout, he earned a soccer scholarship to play collegiate soccer in the United States. Thanu holds an Athlete Management Certificate from Sports Management Worldwide in the United States and also completed an Associate Degree in Sports Journalism.
Thanu’s primarily tasked with scouting undiscovered talent in Western Canada for marketing to professional clubs in North America and overseas.
